Hypoallergenic cats go on sale

The world's first specially-bred hypoallergenic cats have gone on sale in the United States.
US biotech firm Allerca says it has managed to selectively breed them by reducing a certain type of protein that triggers allergic reactions.

The cats will not cause the red eyes, sneezing and even asthma that some cat allergy sufferers experience, except in the most acute cases.

Despite costing $3,950 (£2,104), there is already a waiting list to get one.

Allerca first started taking orders for hypoallergenic cats back in 2004.

Hehe ... hypoallergenic cats ... lol

Sex with corpse grave robbers busted

Take a good look at these three degenerates. They were caught in the act of digging up the grave of a young woman who had been killed in a motorcycle accident on Aug 27th 2006 so that they could have sex with her body.

Necrophiliac grave robbers

Nicholas Grunke allegedly plotted with his twin brother Alex and a friend, 20-year-old Dustin Radke, to rob Tennessen's grave so that he could have sex with her corpse.

The three were caught after reports of suspicious activity at the cemetary. When police arrived, they found 20 year-old Alexander Grunke waiting in his van while his twin and their friend dug up the corpse of 20 year-old Laura Tenneson who had died a week earlier.

Laura Tenneson

Officer Brent McDonald who went to investigate said he was suspicious of a range of items in the back of the van: "... paper towel type thing, hand sanitizer," said McDonald, "and there was a box of condoms on the floor."

Initially they were charged with sexual assualt however the law in Wisconsin does not support such a charge. The three still remain in custody on charges of theft and criminal damage.

It's a sick, sick world ...

City girl apologies over 'control freak' party email

"On the occasion of her 21st birthday bash at the Ritz Hotel, however, bank worker Lucy Gao decided there would be none of these problems.

She sent a detailed e-mail to 39 of her friends setting out the schedule for the evening. It gave them staggered time slots for arrival and told them what to wear and even what to say.

There were also helpful hints such as: ‘It goes without saying that the more upper-class you dress, the less likely you shall be denied entry.’

The meticulous Miss Gao, however, saw her best-laid plans backfire on her. One colleague at Citigroup bank was so stunned by the message that he forwarded it on to a friend. She in turn sent it to 12 colleagues in her department with four additional words at the top – ‘Her best yet … enjoy’.

And as always seems to happen in these cases, the e-mail has pinged around the world, entertaining bank workers by the thousand."

Charming ...

Strange 'hybrid' animal found dead

Residents are wondering if an animal found dead over the weekend may be the mysterious creature that has mauled dogs, frightened residents and been the subject of local legend for half a generation.

The animal was found near power lines along Route 4 on Saturday, apparently struck by a car while chasing a cat. The carcass was photographed and inspected by several people who live in the area, but nobody is sure exactly what it is.

Interestingly, in an unrelated incident, police in Maine seized a wolf-dog hybrid.
