Jacko counts the cost of freedom

"The price of Michael Jackson's freedom is a legal bill that would bankrupt any ordinary defendant - and a financial blow to the county that ran the unsuccessful prosecution.

It is thought the pop star may have to pay up to $5m to his high-powered defence team, led by celebrity lawyer Thomas Mesereau."

Still cheaper than the reported $20m paid to Jordy Chandler arf arf

This whole Micheal Jackson fiasco is sickening. Talk about the blow to his finances, what about the blow to the victims psychies? Not to mention the fact that it reinforces the monetarily baised American Judicial System. Granted, it's one of the best in the world..but it sends the message that if a person has enough money they can buy their own justice. Justice is blind my arse. The Kennedy's did it. O.J. did it and now Wacho Jacko. God bless the people who have to use public defenders. Sorry, I'll step off my soap box now. ;) Sooo, how has your day been, good I hope. Take care. :)
